Hi, I’m Lauren.
Leicester wedding photographer
A wedding photographer based in Leicestershire, with a calm, relaxed approach and gentle guidance throughout the day.
About Me
I’m Lauren, a midlands based wedding photographer. Mum to Toby, and human to Arthur our rescue dog. Home is a quiet village in Leicestershire, and when I’m not photographing weddings you’ll usually find me enjoying slow mornings, exploring new places, from countryside walks to city wanders, or tucked away in a cosy café or pub with a coffee (or a glass of wine).
I’m calm by nature, quietly observant, and very much a people person — not always the shouty kind, but definitely not short on words either! I care a lot about how people feel, and I think that comes through in the way I photograph weddings. I’m drawn to moments that feel natural and unforced, and I value connection far more than perfection.
I believe your wedding day should feel like a celebration, not a photoshoot, and that the best photos come when you’re comfortable, present and able to be yourselves.
Why I Do This
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember but my path to doing it professionally wasn’t a straight line.
I became a mum young, and for a long time I chose stability and security over creativity. It was the right choice at the time, and one I’m proud of. But that pull towards photography never really went away. When I finally gave myself permission to come back to it properly, it felt like everything clicked into place.
What really drew me to weddings was watching real connections unfold between people. Weddings are full of those genuine moments. Laughter with your best friends, the joy on your partner’s face, the tiny details you might miss in the blur of the day. I’m there to capture all of that in a way that feels like you.
My approach is calm and friendly, gently guiding when it helps and otherwise just being present so you feel relaxed, not directed. I want you to enjoy your day, live in the moments, and trust that I’ll quietly capture them beautifully and authentically.
